Lima Sand Rug

Sand is the quietest of the five, a pale warm neutral that lets the texture of the weave do all the talking. It is the easiest to place, working on boards or tiles where a stronger colour might compete, and the contrast edge keeps it from disappearing altogether.

Part of the Lima collection — hand-woven in India from hand-spun wool in an unbacked flatweave, with a 7mm pile and a 10mm overall height. The yarn is twisted unevenly, so the surface shifts in tone across the rug, and a bold contrasting band runs around the edge.
