Metro Khaki Rug

Khaki green in two close tones, the paler shade raised and the deeper one cut away, so the layered geometry appears and disappears depending on where the light is. Pure wool keeps the colour soft and slightly dusty. A useful middle green that sits well with tan leather, brass and painted woodwork.

Part of the Metro collection — hand-tufted in India from pure wool, with a carved high-low pile between 8 and 12mm that sets layered geometric patterns into relief. Each design is worked tonally, one shade against another, so the structure of the pattern comes from depth as much as colour. Cotton backed.
