Mirage Oasis Blue Rug

Blue suits the Oasis pattern particularly well, the rippling bands looking like shallow water moving over a bed. Lighter and darker blues sit side by side, sharpened by the carved high-low surface, and the result cools a room that takes a lot of afternoon sun.

Part of the Mirage collection — a machine-woven shaggy rug made in Turkey from a polypropylene and polyester blend, with a 20mm pile and a 25mm overall height over a jute backing. The high-low construction carves each design physically into the surface, leaving it soft underfoot and quietly textured.
