Olsen Glide Rug

Glide draws long, unbroken curves across a cream wool ground, carved so each line sits proud of the surface and casts its own shadow. The design is barely coloured at all — the interest is entirely in the height of the pile — which gives a calm room depth without anything loud.

Part of the Olsen collection — hand tufted in India in pure wool, with loop and cut pile hand carved into the surface to give real depth. The pile stands between 10 and 15mm, 20mm in total over a cotton, polyester and latex backing, so the texture is substantial and warm underfoot.
