Elm Ivory Rug

Ivory shows the bouclé texture at its clearest, with the varied loop sizes casting small shadows across an otherwise pale field. The dhurrie border sits a shade darker, giving the rug a defined edge rather than letting it disappear into a light floor. Soft, unfussy and well suited to a bedroom or a quiet snug.

Part of the Elm collection — hand-woven in India from wool and viscose in a chunky bouclé flatweave, 14mm thick overall, with loops of varied size giving a deliberately uneven surface. A dhurrie-inspired border and fine stitch detail frame each rug, and a latex backing holds the weave steady.
