Sloan Blue Rug

A strong mid blue carries the Sloan geometric here, the motifs broken up with natural undyed wool so the pattern reads clearly without becoming heavy. The flatweave keeps everything crisp and graphic. Blue of this depth sits well with oak, rattan and grey upholstery, and gives a bedroom colour without a lot of visual weight.

Part of the Sloan collection — a hand-woven flatweave in soft wool and cotton, made in India and finished with a cotton backing. At just 4mm it sits flat under doors and furniture, and the hand-made construction gives the geometric patterning a crisp, well-defined edge.
