Gold carries this medallion design, warm ochres and antique brass laid over a faded ground with the pattern deliberately broken up across it. The shine in the fibre catches lamplight and gives the colour real lift after dark. Classic in layout, relaxed in finish — it suits a dining room or a traditional hallway.

Part of the Sovereign collection — machine woven in Turkey from polyester, with a fine 5mm flatweave pile over a cotton backing, 10mm in total. The fibre carries an unusual sheen for a traditional design, catching the light across a faded, deliberately distressed ground.
