Tigra Mocha Rug

Mocha gives the Tigra markings a deep coffee brown against a paler ground, and the carved high-low pile lifts the pattern clear of the base. The animal print is handled loosely rather than literally, reading as broken stripes and softened edges. In wool, with real depth to the surface, it holds a room together.

Part of the Tigra collection — hand woven in India from 100% wool, with cut and looped pile worked at different heights so the animal markings are carved into the surface. At 18mm overall it has genuine substance underfoot, and the pattern shows through texture as much as through colour.
