Tawny brown gives the bouclé loops a warm, earthy weight, the raised yarn catching light a shade lighter than the base so the surface never looks solid. It is a grounding colour for a sitting room with leather or dark wood, and it carries the traffic of a busy household well.
Part of the Abbus collection — hand-woven in India from polyester in an uneven bouclé weave, with a 4mm pile and a 14mm overall height on a latex backing. The looped yarn breaks the surface into a soft, nubbly texture that catches the light without adding bulk underfoot.
