Asher Natural Rug

Natural keeps everything in one family, with the cotton pattern only a shade or two lighter than the jute around it. The Berber motifs show mostly through texture, which makes this the quieter of the two and the simpler to layer under furniture. It brings the warmth of a natural floor covering with a bit more going on.

Part of the Asher collection — hand-woven in India from jute with cotton and a little polyester, in a low flatweave just 10mm thick and left unbacked. Cotton yarns are placed through the natural jute ground to form tribal Berber patterns, giving texture and design in a single, sustainable construction.
