Hague Taupe Rug

Taupe sits between grey and brown, a useful middle tone that bridges warm and cool furnishings. The carved lines show as soft shadow across the wool, and the colour is forgiving in a busy room, sitting comfortably under both dark leather and pale upholstery.

Part of the Hague collection — hand-tufted in India from 100% wool, with a contrasting cut and loop pile carved to 15-20mm overall so the geometry is shaped into the surface rather than printed onto it. Angular lines and sweeping curves worked in a single tone.
