Olsen Surge Rug

Surge carves sweeping, wave-like bands across a cream ground, the pile rising and falling so the pattern gathers towards the centre of the circle. It is the most fluid of the Olsen designs, and the soft wool surface makes it a natural choice beside a bed or an armchair.

Part of the Olsen collection — hand tufted in India in pure wool, with loop and cut pile hand carved into the surface to give real depth. The pile stands between 10 and 15mm, 20mm in total over a cotton, polyester and latex backing, so the texture is substantial and warm underfoot.
