Sloan Marsala Rug

Marsala is a deep, wine-leaning red, and it takes the Sloan geometric somewhere richer than the brighter colourways manage. The flatweave keeps it from feeling heavy, and the natural wool breaking through the pattern stops the colour becoming solid. A warming choice for a room that is used mostly in the evenings.

Part of the Sloan collection — a hand-woven flatweave in soft wool and cotton, made in India and finished with a cotton backing. At just 4mm it sits flat under doors and furniture, and the hand-made construction gives the geometric patterning a crisp, well-defined edge.
