Theodore Hatch White & Black Rug

A fine cross-hatch grid is worked in white and black, the two yarns crossing so the pattern reads as a woven check rather than a printed line. The looped pile keeps the surface low and hard-wearing, and the monochrome palette gives a plain room a subtle bit of structure underfoot.

Part of the Theodore collection — hand-tufted in India in a 92% wool blend, with a fine looped pile just 12mm in total height. The loops are worked in tonal yarns to form chevron and cross-hatch patterns, giving a low, dense surface that stands up well to regular traffic.
