Ascot Sand Rug

Sand keeps this one warm and light, a soft biscuit wool field with the viscose frame picking up a golden shine around it. It is an easy neutral to build on, softening a dark floor and working with almost any upholstery, while the carved border stops it looking plain.

Part of the Ascot collection — a hand-woven rug in 65% wool and 35% viscose, with a short cut pile carved to lift the broad border clear of the field. The wool centre is matt and dense, the viscose border catches the light, and each rug is made in India over a cotton backing.
