Metro Plum Rug

Plum gives the Metro geometry real depth, the darker passages sinking back while the raised sections hold a warmer, redder tone. It is the boldest of the four colourways and the one that changes most between daylight and lamplight. Strong enough to lead a room, particularly against grey or off-white walls.

Part of the Metro collection — hand-tufted in India from pure wool, with a carved high-low pile between 8 and 12mm that sets layered geometric patterns into relief. Each design is worked tonally, one shade against another, so the structure of the pattern comes from depth as much as colour. Cotton backed.
