Olsen Movement Rug

Movement sets simple geometric forms — bars, part-circles and stepped blocks — into a cream ground, every one carved back to a different level. The result is quietly architectural, and the pattern shifts as the light moves around a room over the course of the day.

Part of the Olsen collection — hand tufted in India in pure wool, with loop and cut pile hand carved into the surface to give real depth. The pile stands between 10 and 15mm, 20mm in total over a cotton, polyester and latex backing, so the texture is substantial and warm underfoot.
