Taupe is the quietest colourway in the range, a soft greyed-brown that lets the geometry read as a low relief rather than a pattern. It bridges warm and cool schemes, which makes it useful when a room has both oak and grey in it. A safe, hard-wearing choice for hallways and open-plan spaces.

Part of the Sloan collection — a hand-woven flatweave in soft wool and cotton, made in India and finished with a cotton backing. At just 4mm it sits flat under doors and furniture, and the hand-made construction gives the geometric patterning a crisp, well-defined edge.
