Wilder Splash Spice Rug

Splash breaks the animal print down into scattered irregular marks, worked here in spice orange on a lighter ground. It is the most abstract design in the range, reading almost as paint from a distance, and the warm tone brings colour to a room without a literal print.

Part of the Wilder collection — machine woven in India from 100% polyester with an 8mm cut pile and 18mm total height, the varied pile depth giving each marking a raised, shadowed edge. The surface is soft to the touch and built to take daily wear on a cotton backing.
